Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for ChatPlus subscriptions. It should be read together with our Terms of Use. By subscribing to ChatPlus, you agree to this policy.
1. Free Trial
- Every new account gets a 7-day free trial. No card is required to start, and you will not be charged automatically when the trial ends — you choose to subscribe.
- You can cancel, or simply stop using ChatPlus, during the trial at no cost.
2. How Billing Works
- Once you subscribe, you choose to be billed Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly. You're charged in advance for the period you choose.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Applicable taxes (like GST) are added to every invoice as required by law.
3. How to Cancel
- You can cancel any time by emailing support@chatplus.app (or from your account dashboard, once available).
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then it will not renew.
- Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period — see below.
4. Our General Refund Rule
Because ChatPlus gives you access to paid infrastructure, official WhatsApp API connectivity, and usage-based services from the moment your subscription starts, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun. This applies to Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly plans, whether or not you actively use the Service during that period. We don't offer partial refunds or credit for unused days if you cancel partway through a billing period, upgrade, or downgrade.
5. When We Will Consider a Refund
We will review a refund request if:
- You were charged more than once for the same billing period (a duplicate charge), or charged the wrong amount due to our error.
- You can show a payment was unauthorised or fraudulent — please report this to us immediately.
- ChatPlus was verifiably unavailable or broken due to a fault on our side for a significant part of your billing period, despite our reasonable efforts to fix it.
In genuine cases like these, we may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion, usually back to your original payment method.
6. What Is Never Refunded by ChatPlus
- Meta's own WhatsApp conversation/messaging charges. These are usage-based fees set by Meta, separate from your ChatPlus subscription, and not something ChatPlus can refund.
- Any period where your WhatsApp number or Business Account was restricted or banned due to your own violation of WhatsApp's Business Policy or Commerce Policy, or due to messaging contacts without proper opt-in.
- One-time setup, onboarding, migration, or custom development work once we've started performing it.
- Fees for third-party add-ons or integrations you've enabled.
- Taxes already paid and remitted to the government.
7. Enterprise Plans
If you're on a custom Enterprise plan with a signed order form or contract, the refund and cancellation terms in that agreement apply instead of the general rules above, wherever they differ.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email support@chatplus.app with your registered email, invoice/transaction ID, and the reason for your request. We'll review and respond within 5–7 business days. If approved, refunds are usually processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, though your bank or payment provider may take longer to show it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
